New Holstein - Frances Ninmer, age 93, of New Holstein, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 7, 2018, at the Atrium Post Acute Care Center in New Holstein.

Frances Schmitz was born March 28, 1924 to Edwin & Alwina (Mertens) Schmitz. She attended grade school in the Town of New Holstein. On May 18, 1949, she married Willard Ninmer at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein. Willard preceded her in death on July 22, 2002.

She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein.

Frances is survived by her four children, Carol (Michael) Field of New Holstein, Dennis (Dottie) Ninmer of New Holstein, Charles Ninmer of New Holstein and Rick Ninmer of Neenah; Eight grandchildren, Gail (Michael) Peterson, Angela (Michael) Pfister, Heather (Dan) Robilard, Corey Ninmer, Tiffany Ninmer, Courtney Ninmer, Garrick Ninmer, and Davis Ninmer; Six great-grandchildren, Christopher & Calvin Peterson, Lauryn, Kailey, & Logan Pfister, and Aidan Robilard; her sister, Helen Reinl of New Holstein; her sisters-in-law, Jeanette (Allan) Miller of Kiel, Audrey Hansman of Menasha, and Gertrude Ninmer of Kiel. She is further survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin & Alwina Schmitz; her husband, Willard Ninmer; a grandson, Christopher Ninmer; and four sisters, Margaret Gebhart, Agnes Hanke, Genrose Schwarz, and Marion Schmitz.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 6:30 PM on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1724 Madison Street, New Holstein, WI 53061. Entombment will be at Knollwood Memorial Park Mausoleum near Manitowoc.
