Lloyd Magnie spent a great deal of his life in California where he was married and had two beautiful daughters, Valerie and Stacy. For many years, he worked as a chauffeur in Los Angeles, Hollywood, and Beverly Hills. Lloyd provided premium services to some of the biggest celebrities in the movie and recording industry, along with top ranking political leaders. Furthermore, he had become friends with a few of his celebrity clients and had stayed in touch afterwards, such as Dolly Parton. Later, he acquired a big reputation as a drug store cowboy known as the "Pozo Cowboy" who loved his JD and who considered himself as a man's man. After seeing the movie "Everything You Wanted To Know About Sex ... But Was Afraid To Ask" by Woody Allen, sheep were also kiddingly a part of Lloyd's life as he wanted to be associated with them. He had a great sense of humor. Lloyd's favorite phrase was Baaa!
An avid outdoor's man, Lloyd loved camping and fishing. When he went to Alaska on a pleasure trip, he fell in love with it's natural beauty and it made a deep impression on him. In addition, Lloyd was very proud of his Swedish heritage since his parents had migrated from there. In his later years, Lloyd had moved to Ashland, Oregon where he had taken care of his aging mother who passed away in June of 2006 at the age of 100 years old. In January of 2007, Lloyd suffered a massive heart attack and passed away three day's later with his family at his side.
