Annette Horton Wallace 77, departed this life on Sunday, January 14, 2018, at Memorial Hospital.
She entered this world on October 14, 1940, in Mobile, Alabama, to James and Hattie Cannon Horton. She was 1 of 13 children. She attended school in Mobile and served many years as a service worker and a home maker. She enjoyed going out on outings and watching tv especially soap operas and game shows. She also enjoyed doing cross word puzzles and giving to her favorite charity Feed the Children. When she wasn't engaged in these activities she was busy being a loving devoted mother to 9 children, in which she had 3 sets of twins. She was a baptized member of the Church of Christ in Springfield,IL.
She was preceded in death by husband John E. Wallace, parents James and Hattie Horton, two daughters, Veronica Horton and Joetta Wright. One son Edwin A.Wright. Three sisters Barbara Ann White and Wardella Womack and Mae Douglas Stewart, and four brothers, Fred, Casey, Edward, and Bragster Horton.
Anette leaves to cherish her memories: her three daughters, Jolene(Joseph), Ulandra(Winfred) Wright of Springfield, IL, and Cassandra Wright of Minneapolis, Minnesota; three sons, Joseph L. Wright Jr. (Cheri), Mandez A. Wright, Montez A. Wright of Springfield, IL. 20 grandkids and 26 great grand kids, four sisters Ola Briggity, Crelon Sanders, Etta Brack of Springfield, IL, and Demellon Horton of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and a brother Clinton Horton of Springfield, IL; several nieces and nephews cousins and friends.
