Eric was born on Aug. 13, 1965, at Girard to John Leo and Daisy Claudine (Hiestand) Westhoff. He lived in Walnut and Parsons. He recently moved to Pittsburg.
Eric loved to sing, and his favorite song was “Jesus Loves Me.” He also enjoyed the outdoors, going for walks and going out for pizza. He was baptized into the Catholic faith at St. Francis Catholic Church, St. Paul.
Eric is survived by his mother, Claudine Westhoff of St. Paul; a brother, Claude Westhoff and his wife, Kathy, of Walnut; a sister, Mary Jo Little and her husband, Bob, of Walnut; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Leo Westhoff, in 1975; and two brothers, Ron Westhoff and Michael Westhoff.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis Catholic Church with the Rev. David Michael Htun officiating. Burial will follow in St. Francis Cemetery, St. Paul. The rosary will be recited at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday at Carson-Wall Funeral Home, St. Paul, with visitation following.
