Frances Sosbe, age 96, of Cynthiana, Kentucky, died Sunday, January 21, 2018, at her son's residence. Born in Harrison County, Kentucky, on March 18, 1921, to the late Creed F. and Minnie Goodnight Wagoner, she was a homemaker and a farmer.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Howard P. Sosbe, Sr.; a brother, George R. Wagoner; and three sisters, Dora Dutton, Mae Mahoney and Mildred Cox. She is survived by: a son, Howard (Pam) Sosbe, Jr., of Cynthiana; a grandson, John (Whitney) Sosbe, of Stamping Ground; and a great-granddaughter, Annaleigh Frances Sosbe.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday at Ware Funeral Home by Bro. Glenn Redmon, with visitation at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be in Goodnight Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators, 1317 U.S. Highway 62 East, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031. Pallbearers will be Barry McNees, David Moore, II, John Sosbe, Louise Dutton, Jr., Joe Price and Reynolds Gifford.
