HOWARD P. SOSBE SR.,
age 87, died Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Born in Harrison County, May 20, 1923, to the late Milton Riley and Mary Hazel Lyons Sosbe, he was a retired truck driver and farmer and a World War II Army veteran. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Felix Sosbe and Kenny Sosbe and two sisters, Anna Ruth Sosbe and Evelyn Sue Elam.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Wagoner Sosbe; a son, Howard (Pam) Sosbe, Jr., Cynthiana and a grandson, John (Whitney) Sosbe, Georgetown.
Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Sunday at Ware Funeral Home by Bro. Larry Jones with visitation at 11:00 A.M. Burial will be in Goodnight Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 1317 U.S. Highway 62 East, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031.
