She went home on a beautiful sunny fall day, on November 15, 2000, at Gig Harbor, Washington, at the age of 93.
She married Stephen E. Crawford on December 27, 1927 at Ellensburg, Washington, and spent the majority of her life raising their six children.
She thoughly enjoyed the music that Steve and the family band played at many grange halls in the Tacoma/Eatonville, Washington area while the children were growing up.
After her children were raised, she enjoyed bowling, her plants and flowers, playing bingo, sewing, reading and most of all, spending time with her children and many grandchildren.
She was a member of the Washington Oldtimer Fiddler's Association, and a member of the Women's International Bowling Congress during her lifetime.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen and a son, George, her mother, father, 5 sisters, and 4 brothers.
She will be greatly missed by her son, Russell and his wife, Roberta and daughters, Doris and her husband Jim, Nelda and her husband Bob, Marjorie and her husband Sam, and Janet and her husband Bob. Also mourning her loss are her brother, Hans, 19 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchilden, and many Nieces and Nephews.
