After causing adequate mischief on the streets of Presque Isle, Maine he enlisted in the Marine Corps (SEMPER FI) where he proudly served & protected his country honorably overseas. He worked for Westinghouse Corporation for over 30 years. However, retirement was not for Ken who continued to work until his passing. He loved his summers in Maine at camp viewing beautiful St. Froid Lake.
He is survived by one daughter, Stacey Smith Goldberg and her husband, Craig, of Jacksonville; one son, Todd Smith and his wife, Marsha, of Jacksonville; “Papa” to three grandsons, Kyle & Luke Goldberg & Daniel Smith of Jacksonville; two granddaughters, Aislyn Smith & Emerson Goldberg of Jacksonville; three brothers, Thurlow Smith & his wife Gretchen of Augusta, Maine, Harlow Smith & his wife Judi of Presque Isle, Maine and Orlan Smith of Presque Isle, Maine; three sisters, Cynthia Young of Martin, Tennessee, Marina Lossez of Presque Isle, Maine & Melanie Bagley of Presque Isle, Maine; several loving brothers & sisters in-law and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his loving bride, Linda Soucie Smith & his daughter, Hope Smith.
“GOD has truly blessed me with a loving wife, parents, children, grandchildren, brothers & sisters, nieces & nephews."
He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
