Service for Belva Mizell Goins, from Bogalusa, LA passed away after a lengthy illness in Lufkin, TX on Monday January 22, 2018, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Laird Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Herbert Goins, from Natchez. They both spent their later at Toledo Bend Reservoir fishing their years away. Prior to that, they lived in Gallatin, TN, and Natchez, MS
Survivors include her children: Jay Wells and wife, Michelle, of Warner Robins, GA and Leisha Wells of Burkeville, TX; step children: Brian Goins and wife, Kristy, of Tennessee, and Holly Neely of Natchez; grandchildren: Nicole Puryear and husband, Louis, of Warner Robins, GA, Brittany Wells and fiancé, Dillon Burgin, of Warner Robins, GA and Tyler Neely of Natchez; great grandchildren: Jaylynn Puryear and Oliver Burgin of Warner Robins, GA; and a brother: Chess Mizell and wife, Patsy, of Knoxville, TN.
