Cleone Marsh Farnsworth Crawford 1909 ~ 2007

Cleone Marsh Farnsworth Crawford passed away on January 3, 2007 at the age of 97. She lived a long and full life. Her influence will be felt for years to come, as her life was filled with service to others.

She was born, along with a twin sister, Ione, on February 21, 1909 to Joseph Franklin and May Hackett Marsh. She was raised in Alpine and graduated from American Fork High School.

She married Eldred Birch Farnsworth on July 30, 1930 in the Logan Temple. He died on December 28, 1950. She married Clifford Leroy Crawford August 11, 1971 and he died on June 19, 1992.

When her children were young, she was active in PTA and Lady Lyons. She liked to bowl, but even more, she enjoyed a game of bridge with her lady friends from Magna, or any card game with her brothers and sisters. She has always been close to her siblings and they have been a great support system for one another. She was always active in the LDS Church and served faithfully in numerous callings.

She is survived by a son, Glen B. Farnsworth and his wife Alice; sisters, Edith McIntire (Wayne), Fern Larsen, MayRene Goul (Don); seven grandchildren (including Janet whom she raised) and 13 great-grand-children.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Eldred and Clifford; daughter, Barbara; twin sister, Ione; brothers, M. Thirl and Ray; twin grandsons, Todd and Tory; and daughter-in-law Marcella.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah. A viewing will be held on Monday, January 8, 2007 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and also one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
