We are called upon to chronicle the death of one of our old and highly respected citizens. Mrs. Jane Taylor, widow of the late Harrison Taylor, died at her home on West Second street last night at 10 o'clock, after a lingering illness. She was a lady of most estimable character, and, was beloved by a large circle of friends, who will regret to hear of her death."
