Ray Harber, 87, of Bryan, passed away Friday February 9, 2018. Ray was a proud veteran of the US Air Force, and retired after 20 years as a Master Sergeant. He also owned L&H Homes Inc. as he was a longtime homebuilder in the Bryan College Station area.

Ray was born June 13, 1930, in Rose Hill, Virginia, to Jerry and Cornie Harber. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Survivors include his son Ricky Harber; daughters, Konnie Harber, Norma Calhoun and husband Ron; brothers, Victor Harber and wife Thelma, Franklin Harber and wife Ruth, Bobby Harber; sisters, Ada Osborne and husband Hoye, Jerelene Harber; and granddaughters, Taylor Harber, and Helen and Melissa Calhoun.

Ray Harber served in the U. S. Air Force from 21 May 1951 thru 21 May 1971. He was Honorably discharged at Luke AFB, Arizona.

Cremation services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers of Bryan College Station, Texas.

We took Dad home one final time on 3 July 2018. Buried him at his Mother's feet.
