Dusty was a shelter dog adopted in December 2003. He was a goofy, fun-loving dog that had a big personality and a very loud bark. Although he hated water, he loved boat rides and even tolerated wearing a captain's cap long enough for me to snap photos. After moving away from the lake he learned to enjoy long walks on the trails on our property. I think the new critter smells both fascinated him and worried him a little. He was a good boy and I loved him dearly.
