Edward W. Brock Dies Suddenly of Heart Attack
Demise Comes In The Office Of R. S. Proctor, In Court House
Edward W. Brock, of this city died suddenly yesterday morning in the office of R. S. Proctor, superintendent of the County Board of Education of a heart attack. He had previously suffered heart attacks and had been in ill health for some time. After viewing the body, Coroner Mack Henderson decided that an inquest was unnecessary.

Most of the school houses in the county for the last ten years have been built by this firm, and Mr. Brock had the contract for the building of the Banner warehouses.
Surviving are his widow and the following children: Mrs. W. Frank Pittman, of New Bern, Mrs. Robert Sparrow of Washington, N. C., Richard Brock and Edward Brock, Jr., of this city, a step-son, Warren Arnold of Baltimore and several grandchildren. Also two sisters, Mrs. Jim Arnold, of Maple Cypress, and another sister in Oklahoma. Also a brother, Jasper Brock, of Jasper.
Funeral arrangements were held-up, pending arrival of relatives, who left Baltimore last night.
