Ray Cosler, 87, of Wilmington, passed away at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Clinton Memorial Hospital.

His wife, June Wolf Cosler, survives. They were married February 2, 1957. Mr. Cosler was born December 5, 1930 in Greene County, son of the late Hower and Pearl Kable Cosler.

Mr. Cosler was a lifelong farmer. He was a 1952 graduate of The Ohio State University and a longtime member of the Presbyterian Church of Wilmington. Ray was also a member of the Antique Power Club and the Clinton County Farm Bureau.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Cosler is survived by a daughter, of Beavercreek; three sons; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, a brother, Kenneth Cosler, and a sister, Louise Wolfe, are preceded in death.

At his request, Mr. Cosler's body was donated to The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

A celebration of Ray's life will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 18 at the Presbyterian Church of Wilmington, 840 Timber Glen Drive, Wilmington, with Rev. Deborah Linville officiating. Friends may call from 2-3 p.m. Sunday, March 18 at the Presbyterian Church of Wilmington. Family and friends are also invited to gather for a reception at the church immediately following the service on Sunday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Presbyterian Church of Wilmington, 840 Timber Glen Drive, Wilmington, OH 45177.

Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, Wilmington, is serving the family.
