Died, at his home in the east part of the county May 17th, 1901, Ace Givens, aged 31 years. Just before death, he told the writer that he had made his peace with God and fell asleep. The funeral services were conducted by G. W. Robison from 1st Samuel 20:18. The remains were laid to rest in the Spring Hill cemetery to await the last great day. Song at the cemetery: There is a fountain filled with blood.” - R.
