Anna Vaccaro passed away on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 97. She was born on Wednesday, December 15, 1920 in Independence, Louisiana to the late Vita Cali Levatino and the late Angelo Levatino. She was a resident of Independence, Louisiana.

Anna is survived by her sons, Anthony "Tony" Vaccaro, Jr. and his wife Emily Labruzzo Vaccaro, and Gerald "Jerry" Vaccaro and his wife Diane Canale Vaccaro; sister, Rose Levatino Graphia; grandchildren, Todd Vaccaro and his wife Rhonda, Deana Stewart and her husband Chad, Christopher Vaccaro and his wife Windy; great-grandchildren, Taylor and her husband Caleb, Brannon, Chandler, Carter, Alanna, Ryan, Cory, Brayden, and Carlie; and great great grandchild, Ezra Jane.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Vaccaro, Sr.; father, Angelo Levatino; mother, Vita Cali Levatino; siblings, Sam Levatino, Frank Levatino, Josie Levatino Laciura, Mary Levatino, Philip Levatino, and Vic Levatino; and great-grandson, CJ Stewart.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, 609 3rd St., Independence, Louisiana 70443, on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 9:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow in Colonial Mausoleum.
