Jane Ann Bucher, 87, The Village of Laurel Run, formerly of Cashtown, PA died Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the York Hospital.
She was born October 28, 1930 in Harrisburg, PA the daughter of the late C. Paul and Alta Davis Miller. Her husband John George "Tom" Bucher died in 1990.
Jane was a member of Flohr's Lutheran Church in Cashtown, PA where she was a member of Goodwill Sunday School Class. She was a 1948 graduate of John Harris High School in Harrisburg, PA and attended Central Penn Business College. For over 20 years, Jane was employed at Boyer's Nurseries in Biglerville, PA as a secretary and sales person. Prior to that she was employed for 14 years at Franklin Township Elementary School in Cashtown, PA. Jane was also a member of the Rock Top club of Cashtown, PA. Most recently, Jane was the secretary for Franklin Township.
Mrs. Bucher is survived by a daughter, Sue Ann Wentz and her companion Ron Buffington of Carroll Valley, PA, a son, J. Gregg Bucher of Littlestown, PA, seven grandchildren; Laura Breski and her husband Michael, Jessica Schiery, Matthew Wentz, Rebecca Bellinger and her husband Brandon, Scot Swan and his wife Dana, Randi Bucher and her companion Brandon Harner, Carrie Mummert and her husband Jimmy, thirteen great grandchildren; Ian Bellinger, Olivia Bellinger, Samuel Bellinger, Aubrey Wentz, Erich Wentz, Jacob Rock, Mariah Breski, Madison Breski, Mackenzie Breski, Colin Swan, Nathan Swan, Lillianna Mummert, Jackson Mummert, , and a sister, Kathy M. Gregorits of Morgantown, PA, a niece, Karin Hill of Morgantown, PA and many, many cousins found in her genealogical searching including, Diane Emerson of Medford, NJ, and two cats, Kitty Cat & Kally Cat
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Flohr's Lutheran Church, Cashtown with Rev. Warren Heintzelman officiating. Interment will be in Flohr's Cemetery.
