DARTMOUTH — Jane S. Hoag, 93, of South Dartmouth, MA, passed away peacefully in her home on July 30, 2016.
Born on June 4, 1923, in Syracuse, NY, she was the daughter of Elizabeth and Will Seeley. She resided in the area until moving to South Dartmouth in 1986 to be closer to her family.
She was the wife of Everett H. Hoag for 70 years and lived a full life, enjoying spending time with her family and beloved pets. She also was involved in her church as a Deacon and with the Women's Guild.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Susan Hankin and Everett Hoag, Jr.; her 2 grandchildren, Julia Hankin and Joshua Hankin along with his wife, Lauren Hankin, and her great-granddaughter, Arianna Hankin.
Because of her great love of animals, in lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to help provide hospice and palliative care for animals: Nikki's Sunshine Fund-Chase Farm Animal Hospital, 35 Ventura Dr., Dartmouth, MA 02747. Also: Congregational Church of South Dartmouth, 17 Middle St., S.Dartmouth, MA 02748.
