Wallace A. Adsit, 86, of 107 E. Oneida St. died Wednesday at the Baldwinsville Sanitarium. He was a native and life resident of Baldwinsville.
Mr. Adsit was a retired postal employee and was one of the original letter carriers in Baldwinsville. He served 12 years as assistant postmaster.
He was a life member of Elks BPOE No. 31 of Syracuse.
He and his wife, Mildred Thompson Adsit, had been married 65 years.
Surviving besides his widow are a son, Neil L. Adsit; a sister, Miss Sarah B. Adsit of Detroit, Mich.; a granddaughter, Mrs. Harold Osborn; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Gates-Sears Funeral Home, the Rev. D. Cecil Flatt officiating. Burial will be in Jacksonville Rural Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 29 F. Genesee St
