In 1961, Allan served a two and a half year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Texas and New Mexico. He attended Brigham Young University and the University of Utah, earning a degree in Pharmacy. Allan worked as a pharmacist for Longs Drugs, Walgreens, and Bel-Air in Yuba City for over 40 years. He loved his work, as well as the people he worked with.
Allan married on September 3, 1965, in the LDS Oakland Temple. He and were sweethearts for over 52 years. In addition to his beloved wife, Allan is survived by his children, and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 30, 2018, at 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Butte House Road in Yuba City. Committal will follow at Gridley Biggs Cemetery.
