Charlotte Apostolo, age 97 of Sacramento passed away on March 21, 2018. Charlotte was born in Northvale, NJ in 1920. She remained in New Jersey until 1978 when Charlotte relocated to Sacramento. Prior to retirement, she worked as an insurance broker and as an independent agent at Sergent-Mackey Agency in Dumont, NJ. Charlotte was very kind to everyone, made friends wherever she went, loved to travel, and have friends over to dinner. Charlotte was the beloved wife of the late George McEntee, deceased in 1969, and for 35 years of the late Carl Apostolo, deceased in 2013. Charlotte is survived by her beloved step-son John Apostolo, loving nephew Stanley Kober (Roberta) of Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ, and her nephew's son Erik Kober (Anna) and children, stationed at the U.S.M.A. at West Point, NY. In keeping with Charlotte's wishes no services are planned. Charlotte was a 30 year volunteer of Casa De Los Ninos Service League, which raises funds for the Sacramento Children's Home. Contributions in her memory may be made to the Los Ninos Service League, 2760 Sutterville Rd, Sacramento, CA 95820.
