Mr. Carl Delbert Browder, age 86, of Fort Payne, passed away March 27, 2018. Mr. Browder was born in Jackson County on January 9, 1932 to the late Charlie and Zora King Browder. He retired from F.G. Lumber where he worked as a sawmiller for 60 years.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday, March 29, 2018, at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 8:00pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Browder is survived by his wife of 64 years, Nancy Poe Browder; daughters and sons-in-law, Kay and Tim Bryan and Carla and Tony Bryan; brothers, Monroe Browder, Raymond Browder, Bill Browder, & Roy Browder; sisters, Jane Edwards, Kate McKinney, Doris Howse, Pat Caldwell, and Betty Roberts; grandchildren, Jennifer Bryan Goggans (Dusty), Miranda Bryan Chambers (Eric), Justin Bryan, Kim Bryan, and Jessica Bryan Chisenhall (Curtis); and great-grandchildren, Emma Goggans, Eli Goggans, Livvy Chambers, Hayden Chambers, and expected John Luke Chisenhall. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jim Browder, Aubrey Browder, and Henry Browder.
