Manitowoc - Dolores Pozorski, age 92, a Manitowoc resident, passed away peacefully Sunday evening, March 25, 2018 at Harborview Assisted Living, Manitowoc, surrounded by her family.

She was born on March 22, 1926 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Ed and Theresa (Budnik) Karl. Dolores attended St. Mary Parochial Grade School and was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, Class of 1944. On July 12, 1947 she married Henry A. Pozorski at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Dolores and Henry were married over 43 great years and enjoyed traveling, cottage vacations in Chetek and Eagle River as well as a Sunday summer drive to "Grandpa's cottage" in Little Sturgeon. Henry preceded her in death on February 23, 1990. Dolores was employed at Mirro Aluminum Company in the paint department. She was also an "Avon Lady" for many years and was involved in award winning sales and made many life long friends. Mom's passion was for cooking family recipes and visiting with family and friends. Mom was always up for "a visit". Dolores had a strong Christian faith and was a lifelong member of St. Mary Catholic Church, now St. Francis of Assisi. She was also a member of the Holy Rosary Society and the Women's church choir. Dolores was a volunteer for over 10 years where she helped run the coffee shop at St. Mary's Home.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: James and Nancy Pozorski, Spencer, NC., Tom and Linda Pozorski, Appleton; five grandchildren: Aimee, Rachel, Briana, Jon, Sara; six great grandchildren: Elliot, Evie, Oliver, Roman, Nancy; one brother and sister-in-law: Allen and Ethyl Karl, three sisters and one brother-in-law: Geraldine Soch, Mary Herrmann and Margie and Vern Teresin; and special friends: Carol, Florence and Ethyl. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her mother: Theresa (Budnik) Karl; her mother and father: Ed and Blanche Karl; her husband: Henry; one brother: Elroy Karl and a good friend: Theresa.

Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2018 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall (1114 South 21st Street) Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Mark Mleziva with burial of Dolores's cremated remains at St. Mary Cemetery, Manitowoc.
