Beecher Loren Bragg was the son of Samuel Adam Bragg (1888-1952) and Bertie L. Goodson Bragg (1902-2001).

Beecher Loren Bragg, 80, of Fitzpatrick Road, MacArthur. died Monday, May 17, 2004 at his home following a short illness. Born January 5, 1924 at New, he was the son of the late Samuel Adam Bragg and Bertie Goodson Bragg Meadows.

Mr. Bragg was a self-employed groundskeeper at Professional Park at Stanaford for 31 years. He served in the United States Army in World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was the recipient of the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. He was the front observer for the artillery unit in the Battle of the Bulge.

He lived on Fitzpatrick Road, MacArthur for 48 years. He was an avid gardener.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Marie Arthur; and two brothers, Leonard Adam Bragg and Paul Everett Bragg.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 51 years, Nina Mae Webb Bragg; a son, Samuel Beecher Bragg (wife Sharon). a daughter, Charlotte Jean Bragg; and three grandsons, Samuel Adam, Cory Len and Cody Lee Bragg; three brothers, Samuel Edward Bragg (wife Lona Mae), James Bragg (wife Ann) and Charles Bragg (wife Helen). He also raised three nephews and a niece.

Memorial service attended by friends and family at 2 pm, Thursday, May 20, 2004 at his home on Fitzpatrick Road, MacArthur, with Kenny Webb officiating.
