He was the son of the late Samuel Bragg and Bertie Goodson Bragg Meadows. Charles was a Navy veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jocie Arthur Bragg; sons, Wayne Bragg, James Surratt; sister, Marie Arthur; and brothers, Paul Bragg, Beecher Bragg, Leonard Bragg, and Edward Bragg.
