Mr. Alexander Bond, aged 73 years, died suddenly yesterday morning at his residence, 1817 North Broadway. Coroner Caruthers of the Northeastern district, was summoned, and gave a certificate of death due to heart failure. Mr. Bond was the son of the late James Bond, who died in 1866, and was an uncle of Mr. James Bond, former president of the American Bonding and Trust Company. He was prominently identified with the commission business up to six years ago, when he retired on account of ill health. Mr. Bond was a member of protection Council, Junior Order United American Workmen. A son and a daughter survive him. The funeral will take place from his late residence, 1817 North Broadway, tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. Frank G. Porter, pastor of the Harford Avenue Methodist Episcopal Church, will conduct the services. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
