Her family will receive friends at the Parrish Hall Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. Mrs. De Leon passed away at her home March 29, 2018.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Francis Edward De Leon; sons, Joseph G. De Leon, Jesse C. De Leon and Gil V. De Leon; and brother, Joseph Barcinas. Mrs. De Leon was a native of Guam and a long time resident of Jacksonville.
She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church.
She was loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Mrs. De Leon is survived by her son, Bill De Leon, Tom De Leon (Karen), Francis De Leon (June), Delmer De Leon and Raymond De Leon (Nancy); daughters, Thelma Mendiola (Fred), Geraldine Diaz (Edgar), Roxanne Laughridge (Jamey), Vanessa Livasy (Brian); 22 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dora Salazar, Mariana Stricker, Marie Cotting (Roger), and Elizabeth Webb (Tom); and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Bill De Leon, T.J. De Leon, Francis De Leon, Jamey D Leon, Ray De Leon, Brian Livasy, and Fred Mendiola.
