Her maiden name is probably Calvert.

Josiah and Huldah also had another son, James M. Davis, who was born in Ohio about 1848. He was in the 1850 and 1860 censuses with his parents and siblings, but family never located him after that (such a common name at that time). The family was not in the 1870 census.

Death notice:
"Mrs. Hulda [sic] Davis, aged 83 years, died Wednesday morning, March 5th, 1902, at the home of her son in Oxford township. Funeral Friday at 10 a. m. from M. E. church in Middlebourne. Rev. H. W. Stewart conducted the services." (The Jeffersonian, Cambridge, Guernsey Co., OH, Thursday, March 13, 1902)

"Died at 83.
"U. G. Henderson, of Middletown, telephoned to The Daily Times that Mrs. Huldah Davis, aged 83 years, died at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday morning, March 5, 1902, at the home of her son Isaac Y. Davis at the tollgate in Oxford township, where she and her husband, Josiah Davis aged 89 years have lately made their home. She was a good woman and bright and active until within a few days when the weight of years grew too heavy. The funeral conducted by Rev. Harry W. Stewart, Friday at 10 o'clock takes place from the M. E. church in Middletown [sic; should be Middlebourne]. Burial at Pisgah. Another son, Pierce Davis, is present from Lazearville, West Virginia, and two grandsons, G. M. West, of Clarksburg and W. C. West, of Pittsburg [sic]."

There are two unmarked gravestones beside son Isaac Yager Davis. These are undoubtedly Josiah and Huldah, his parents.
