Verna and Roy Shaw were in an automobile accident near Winchester, IN Friday night. She died of a broken neck and Mr. Shaw survived with chest injuries. Besides the mother, Mrs. Robert J. Steete, Mrs. Shaw is survived by two brothers, Kenneth Bowman and George Bowman both of Seymour, and a sister, Mrs. R. G. Prather also of Seymour.

Funeral services for Mrs. Verna Bowman Shaw , age 31 of Indianapolis, formerly of Seymour who was killed Friday night in an automobile accident near Winchester were conducted from the Voss Mortuary with Dr. A. A. Cohn pastor of the First Baptist Church in charge. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery.
