Edward Burling, 88, retired millwright, who had lived in Muncie 14 years, died Saturday at 8:55 p.m. after an extended illness. Mr. Burling had lived with a daughter, Mrs. Harry Needham, W. 18th St., since coming to Muncie. The body was removed to Meeks mortuary and was sent to Deshler, Ohio, Monday morning for services and burial.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Dan Evans of Toledo, and Mrs. Needham; five sons, Lee of Deshler, John and Russell of Bucyrus, Ohio; Sam of Dayton, and Clifford of Muncie.
