Benzella Lacy "Bennie" Triplett, 82, of Dayton, OH; departed this life Monday, April 23, 2018. Benzella confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior at Center Grove United Methodist Church in Huntsville, AL. She joined Canaan Missionary Baptist Church in Dayton, OH; in 1969 where she served in several ministries. Benzella graduated from Council Training High School in Huntsville, AL; in 1955, and attended Alabama A&M University. She retired from Good Samaritan Hospital. She was joined in holy matrimony on May 7, 1960, to Willie J. Triplett. She was a dedicated wife, mother, aunt, neighbor, and friend. Benzella was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 34 years, Willie, parents, Rev. Earl P. Lacy and Zilphia Crimes Lacy; stepmother, Susie Lacy; grandparents, and five siblings. She leaves to cherish her memory her caring and devoted daughters, sister, and sister-in-law, Mrs. Lacey of Dayton, OH; brother-in-law, Mr. Lowe of Montgomery, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services at 12 PM, Monday, April 30, 2018, at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, 5191 Hoover Ave.
Visitation 10 AM. The family will receive friends at 11 AM.
