Robert Heinrichs was a local Artist, born in Westchester County, New York, overlooking the Hudson River.

He has always loved the Hudson Valley, especially the river towns. Throughout his life, Robert has lived and worked in virtually every part of the county. His keen sense of the sights and cultural differences of the cities, towns, and villages of this beautiful area is apparent in his paintings.

Robert painted primarily historical landmarks, house, landscapes, and seascapes found throughout Westchester County and on vacations. He specialized in painting personally commissioned House Portraits, generally in watercolor. He occasionally painted People portraits.

(Bob) Heinrichs, born on Sept. 5, 1937 in Yonkers, to Jean (Berardo) and Theodore, passed away on May 1, 2018. Beloved husband and father, he is survived by his devoted wife Ann (Kimball); his children, Angela (Steve) Vitoulis and Wayne Heinrichs; grandchildren, Aliana (James) and Adam (Gencina); great-grandchild, Aislynn; sister-n-law Lucille Pantelis; nieces and nephews, Peter (Brenda), Irene and Thomas (Erin); dear friends, and a caring church family. Bob had a brilliant mind, many talents and a passion for music and art. He was a gifted pianist, piano tuner/rebuilder, with a rich baritone voice. He painted and taught art classes. Bob was a man of strong Christian faith and an advocate for mental healthcare and 12-step programs.
