Birthdate: There is some uncertainty about her age. Her christening is recorded in the Inishmagrath (Co. Leitrim) Parish Records: 1 July 1838. In the 1900 Census she said she was born in Mar 1845. Perhaps she fibbed. There is a gap in the Drumkeeran Parish records between 1839 and 1880. There could have been a second "Ann" christened if the first died, a common 19th century practice, in order to maintain the name. Carney (sister) notes say she died at age 84, if so her birth date is wrong and she was born in 1839 not March 1845.
OBITUARY: Oregonian 19 Feb 1923, p. 18, Journal 19 Feb 1923, p. 3 "Mrs. Anna Moloney Dies- Resident of Portland for 51 Years Succumbs Following Fall."
Mrs Anna Moloney, for 51 years a resident of Portland, died early last night at St. Vincent's Hospital after an illness of two weeks. She was 80 years old. Two weeks ago she fell and her last sickness was superinduced by the injury.

Moloney, 98 Texas Street, inspector in the police department; Mrs Thomas E. Hulme, 762 Schuyler Street; Mrs. W. Casey, La Grande, Or.; Thomas E. Moloney, Spokane, Wash.
