Daughter of Lee and Goldie Viola Poteet Hayes.
She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church now known as Connect Church in Russellville. She retired from International Shoe Factory. She loved quilting, cooking and being a grandmother.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Clemons; two brothers, Grady Hayes and Peck Hayes; and a sister, Mary Ann Hayes.
Survivors include two daughters and a son-in-law, a sister, five grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 3, 2018, at the Shinn Chapel with Pastor Blaine Rogers officiating. Burial will be in St. Joe Cemetery and under the direction of Shinn Funeral Service of Russellville.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00-6:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
