Betty Doane, 72 of Marysville, IN passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Kentuckiana Medical Center in Clarksville, IN.
Betty was born on May 14, 1946 the daughter of Bruce and Martha Shepherd Helton.
She was a member of the New Market Christian Church, enjoyed reading the Bible, gardening and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons, Anthony “Tony” D. Doane(Kim) of Pekin, IN and Larry Phillip Doane(Stacy) of New Albany, IN; daughter, Angela L. Doane of Marysville, IN; sister, Norma Amick of Marysville, IN; brothers, Ralph Helton of Sellersburg, IN, Jack Helton of Otisco, IN and Tom Helton of Charlestown, IN; grandchildren, Logan, Tristan and Gavan Doane, Natalie Beebe(Michael), Nathan and Nolan Clapp, Norah Milburn; great-grandchild, Harper Beebe; several nieces and nephews.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wally Doane whom she married on November 6, 1964 and died April 14, 2001; sisters, Shirley Boling and Wanda Louise Griffin; brothers, Don and James Helton.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in New Market Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday beginning at 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.
