Frances Daluski, 95, of Forty Fort and formerly of Berwick, died Monday, May 14, 2018, at her home.
Born Dec. 24, 1922, in Wyoming, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Paul and Johanna (Madaya) Gabrys.
In her early years, Mrs. Daluski was employed at McGregor Clothing, and more recently, worked as a caregiver to many people in the Berwick area.
Frances was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church, Berwick, and a former member of the Bloomsburg Moose Lodge. She was a Red Cross blood donor. Among her interests were going to the casino, cooking, and animals, especially dogs. Most of all, she cherished spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her great sense of humor.
Preceding her in death were her husband of 18 years, Robert Daluski, who died in 1964; three brothers: Joseph Gabrys, John Gabrys and Roman Gabrys; and one sister, Julie Butz.
Surviving are her daughter, Barbara Hess of Forty Fort; her former son-in-law, Ronald Hess of Orangeville; her granddaughter, Jennifer Johnson and her husband, Shane, of Forty Fort; her great-granddaughter, Trinity Johnson; and her sister, Sophie Sherrick of Glen Lyon.
A graveside service will be held today, May 16, 2018, at 10 a.m. at Elan Memorial Park, Lime Ridge, with the Rev. Francis J. Tamburro, her pastor, officiating.
