Gertrude experienced much loss during her long life; she was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother, John Harms and his wife, Lavonne, foster parents Clarence and Thelma Snow, her foster brother, Morris Snow and his wife Marge, her daughters Phyllis and husband, Gordon Siemers, and Audrey Bacik.
She was sustained by her strong faith and the love of her many friends and family. Gertrude was a member of the Priscilla Circle at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sibley, and Zion Lutheran Church in Buffalo, MN.
She is survived by her son-in-law, Leo Bacik and special friend, Anne DeWolf; grandchildren-Jerri (Larry) Hoose, Jeff (Chris) Siemers, Jodi (LeRoy) Hull, Roxie (Mike) Otten, and Joe (Jennifer) Bacik; 8 great grandchildren, and 9 great, great grandchildren; 5 great, great, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She will be missed by all the many people whose lives she touched.
