Funeral services for William H. O'Rear, 42, Idabel, were held Sunday afternoon in the Coffey-Ruiz Funeral Chapel, with Bro. Troy May, assisted by the Rev. Bobby Ayers, officiating.
O'Rear, who died Thursday, was born Jan. 27, 1933, in Idabel and had recently returned to Idabel after retiring from a 20 year career with the U. S. Army.
Surviving are his wife, Ellen; three daughters, Melissa O'Rear of Kingston, Wash., Colleen Pierce and Sabena O'Rear of Dallas, Texas; three brothers, Basil of Idabel, Earl of Marshall, Texas, and Paul of Texarkana; six sisters, Mrs. J. C. Ferguson of Idabel, Pauline Williams of Lawton. Berline Bunn of Mesquite, Texas, LaVerne O'Rear of Hayneville, Ala., Imogene Garrett of Lawton and Laura Schumuckler of Dover, Del.
Arrangements and burial in the Denison Cemetery were under the direction of Coffey-Ruiz Funeral Home.
