Cora M. Hager, 74, of Princeton, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017.
Born November 23, 1943 in Bluefield, WV. Cora loved spending time with her family, cooking, doing needlework, and dancing to Bluegrass music. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was a daughter of the late Walter James Akers (1914-Deceased) and the late Elsie Marie Gadd-Akers (1922-1994). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James J. Akers (Deceased) and an infant sister, Mary Ann Akers (Deceased).

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 55 years, Harry "Jack" Hager; two sons, Alan Hager & wife Missy Hager of Bluefield, WV and Larry Hager & wife Shelly Hager of Lancaster, SC; two grandchildren, Kallie Hager and Katilyn Bailey; two brothers, Gerald Akers and wife Shirley Akers, and Mark Akers and wife Linda Akers; her twin sister, Charlotte Maxine Akers-Egnor-Auton (1943-2018); and sister, Shirley Akers-Bailey & husband Wayne Bailey; several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A service to celebrate the life of Cora M. Hager will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Roselawn Funeral Home, 450 Courthouse Road, Princeton with her nephew, Pastor David Bailey officiating. In keeping with Cora's wishes, she will be cremated following the services.
