Houston-Evelyn Brand, 89, died Wednesday, May 02, 2018 at her home in Houston. She was born May 17, 1928 in Houlka, MS to the late Thomas G. Bray and Ethel C. Bray.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 06, 2018 at Houston Cemetery in Houston with Bro. Randy Rinehart and Chaplain David Laman officiating. Memorial Funeral Home of Houston is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by her son Thomas S. Brand of Sumrall, MS; a brother, William Rad Bray (Marie) of Laurel, MS; two sisters, Faye Dulaney of Columbus, MS and Jeanette Dulaney of Houston, MS; one daughter-in-law Colene Brand of Vicksburg; two grandchildren, Gary Brand and Mitchell Brand of Vicksburg; five great grandchildren, Dillon, Dalton, Destiny, Robert and Hannah Brand; and three great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rufus F. Brand; a son, Robert E. Brand; two sisters, Audie D. Criddle and Mary L. Brown; two brothers, James R. Bray and Donald G. Bray.
