Jean Bame, formerly of West Park Place, Toledo, OH, died Sunday, March 16, 2003, in the Franciscan Care Center, at the age of 95. The daughter of Michael and Betty Katz and widow of Judge Ira Bame, her husband of 65 years, she was a homemaker and active in numerous area organizations. Her memberships included Congregation B'nai Israel, Hadassah, Toledo Bar Auxiliary, the Board of Darlington House, Toledo Garden Club and other religious and civic groups. Included was her involvement for many years with a group of life long friends in a weekly book club.
Surviving are her son, Jerry (Doreen) Bame of Huntington Beach, CA; daughter, Susan (Norton) Kale of Toledo, OH; also 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, who will always remember her with love.
