"I came here with my two brothers to live when we were just 3 months old. We were being sent to the pound by our owner but at the last minute someone intervened and asked these people if they were interested (since they just lost their last baby the month before). They took us in with welcome arms and gave us a home in the country in August 2007."

Mischief was a fine looking boy with his big, round, beautiful orange eyes (yes, orange). Notice his short tail. We think mama cat might have chewed it off trying to get him out of the sack at birth, since Mischief was first born.

Mischief and brothers were brought in at night for safety. First thing every morning it was a race to see who got outside first. These boyz were brought up as our kids, so we spoiled them.

In the mornings when my wife was getting ready for work, Mischief would jump up in the chair and give his mommy head butts and kisses before she left for work. That’s why she called him “mommy’s sunshine”.

A tumor was discovered in his belly in February 2018. The vet thought it could be a simple surgery, and didn’t expect any complications. On March 2nd he went into surgery, it was discovered that his belly was full of cancer. The poor fella had round the clock care for the next two and a half months. Mischief passed away early on a Saturday morning with one of his brothers sitting with him. Mischief was 11 years and 11 days old.
