Suggested edit: Adam Dreisbach was born in Oberndorf, Wittgenstein, in what is now Nord-Rhein Westfalen, Germany. He was NOT born in Bavaria. I have his baptismal record from the Feudingen Reformed Church, Wittgenstein, Germany. All members of his family were born here. Years ago somebody made a mistake and thought that the Oberndorf in Bavaria was where the Dreisbach came from . This is in total error. I am the genealogist for the Dreisbach-Dresbach Family association and am happy to forward the baptismal document. See also dreisbach-dresbach.org. Suggested edit: Adam's sister was Anna Catharina Dreisbach bap 4 May 1738, in Oberndorf, Wittgenstein, Nord-Rhein Westfalen, Germany. On 20 Oct 1755 she married Henry Ulrich, as recorded in the History of the Tohickon Union Church, Bedminster Twp, Bucks Co., Pa. by W.J Hinke, 1925, p. 212. There was no "Elizabeth". She is the result of erroneous reading of a will and needs to be removed. (I'm the genealogist of the Dreisbach-Dresbach Family Association). [email protected]

Suggested edit: Sorry, I wasn't clear about Adam's sister, Elizabeth. Yes there were 3 siblings of Adam who were born and died in Germany - Anna Elizabeth, and a Maria Catharina and an Alexander. Their births and deaths are recorded in the Feudingen Reformed Church records. Contributor: Marcia Falconer (48592308) • [email protected]
