Daughter of Robert M. Hanley and Madora Williford of Helena, Phillips, Arkansas.
Granddaughter of Thomas B. Hanley and Caroline Phillips of Helena.
Caroline Phillips was the daughter of Sylvanus Phillips for whom Phillips County, AR was named.
Helena, AR was named for his daughter, Helena, who died at a young age.

Miss Margaret Hanly, 75 , of 5 Lynwood Rd., died in her home Tuesday afternoon after a long illness.
She had lived in Asheville for some 50 years. For 10 years she was associated with the Asheville Merchants Association and later was owner-operator of a collection agency in the Miles Building, retiring five years ago.
A Rosary was said at 8 p.m. Wednesday in Morris-Hendon-Black Funeral Home by the Rev. John Brown.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Eugene Roman Catholic Church.
The Rev. John Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Lewis Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Leo Manly, Frank Mulvaney, Robert Reusing, John Lange, William Taft and W.E. Clark.
Among those surviving are a cousin and lifelong companion, Miss Kate Hanly Wright.
