My brother, affectionately known as "Will", departed this life on Thursday, May 31st 2018. Mr. Ricketts was preceded in death by George W. Anderson (father), Laura Bowler (nee Ricketts) (mother), Linwood Anderson, Richard (Ricky) Anderson, Richard Byrd, & George W. Anderson Jr. (brothers), Juantelle Ricketts (daughter), & Ramon Anderson (son). Wilbert Ricketts Sr. was born on December 10th 1939 to George W. Anderson Sr. and Laura Bowler (nee Ricketts) in Chester, PA. A lifelong resident of Chester, Pennsylvania, Mr. Ricketts worked diligently as a Master Mason in the Cement Industry. He was a intelligent man, known for his warm smile, and making people laugh. He was truly loved by all who came in contact with him. He loved and adored his children, family, and especially his dogs. Mr. Ricketts will be fondly remembered for the special way he would pick fun with everyone he loved. He would go above and beyond to make sure everyone felt like family. Mr. Ricketts enjoyed boxing, fishing, and football during his leisure time. Mr. Ricketts never missed a good day of fishing. He would also enjoy boxing matches and football games with his family and friends. Mr. Ricketts leaves to cherish his memory his wife: Debra Hunt-Ricketts of Chester, PA ; his siblings: Lottie Dickerson, Arlene Wilson, and Robert Anderson (Terry) all of Chester, PA, Mary Anderson-Clyde (Robert) of Atlanta, GA, his children: Roberta Anderson, Rachel Anderson of Milton, PA, Ruth Anderson of Sharon Hill, PA, Serina Hunt of Chester, PA, his sons: Wilbert Ricketts Jr., Wesley Ricketts, Warren Ricketts, William Ricketts all of Chester, PA, Thomas Hunt of Bear, DE & a host of grandchildren, great- grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, & cousins.
