January 4, 1859, he was married to Sophia E. Summers in Fulton, and returned to New York, where they lived until 1864, when they returned to Fulton to make a permanent home. Five children were born to them; two dying in early childhood.
Mr. Noble suffered a stroke of paralysis in June, 1910. His wife passed away one month later. The following November the second stroke rendered him helpless on his left side, obliging him to use crutches. Even after this great affliction he showed much energy and made many articles of furniture out of walnut and mahogany, working under great difficulties, but with a strong will power. In November, 1910, he left his old home, into which the family moved in 1865, to make his home with his older daughter, Mrs. J. C. Snyder, where he had been confined to the house for the past year. Two weeks ago he received a fall and the shock was the immediate cause of his death. Mr. Noble is survived by three children, Mrs. Hattie L. Snyder and Harry B. Noble of Fulton and Mrs. Elizabeth Quayle of Omaha, Neb. The funeral will be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Snyder Wednesday afternoon at 2:30, October 8, followed by interment in the Fulton cemetery.
