Daughter of a Henry and Keitha Jebo.

COLTON – I, Norma J. Thomas, passed away on June 13th at the St. Regis Nursing Home in Massena to join all the family and friends whom I have loved and have gone before me. There will be no wake or calling hours but my family and friends are welcome to come and celebrate my life at my home at 126 Stowe Bay Road in Colton on July 4th.

Partial interment of my ashes will be at Bayside Cemetery at a time to be announced and my remaining ashes to be distributed in the snow in my backyard at Higley Flow during the first heavy snowfall after my death.

I was born June 24, 1924 in Potsdam, New York, the daughter of Henry and Keitha Jebo. I attended all Potsdam schools including State Teachers College (now SUNY), married Francis (Frank) Thomas in May 1943. We raised our family in Yonkers, New York for 30 years and then retired to our summer home in Colton, New York.

I am survived by four of our five children, Lynn (and Richard) Coyne of Croton-on-Hudson, NY; Curtis Thomas of Texas; Denise (and John) Shumway of Colton, NY; Dartrey (and Kim) Thomas of Hyde Park, NY; and daughter-in-law, Susan Thomas of Kissimmee, FL. Also survived by nine grandchildren, Jill Thomas, Doreen (and Bryan) Francey, Amy (and Nick) Ertel, Sean (and Laura) Coyne, Kelly Thomas, Gina (and John) Ryan, Michael (and Crystal) Coyne, Eric (and Kevin) Payne, Alison (and

Edward) Ianicelli and three step grandchildren, Jennifer Arbogast, Marc (and Matija) Laurence and Christa Laurence. Currently survived by 25 great grandchildren and I'll be watching for many more in the years ahead. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to my parents, I was predeceased by my husband of 67 years, Frank Thomas; a son, Brandon Thomas; a sister, Mary Lou Goebel; and a brother, Theodore (Ted) Jebo. My loving family have always been at the forefront of my daily thoughts and prayers, followed by the love for my pets and all animals. Other interests were books and reading, world wide travel and I shared my husband's passion for automobiles, both antique and current.

Donations in my memory may be made to the Potsdam Animal Shelter.
