Cobbtown- Leroy Anderson, 95, died Wednesday at Candler Hospital under Georgia Home Health Care Hospice. The Tattnall County native and lifelong resident was a retired farmer and carpenter. A wonderful PaPa to his grandchildren, he loved gardening, his farm animals and going to Cobbtown daily for a Coke. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rebie Crabbe Anderson. Survivors are two daughters and sons-in-law, Faye and Earl Hughes, Meldrim; Kaye and Jackey Sikes, Cobbtown; brother, Clyde Anderson, Reidsville; grandchildren, Jeff Hughes, Lee Hughes, Terri Hayes, Scott Padgett and Matt Padgett; and ten great grandchildren. Funeral services: Friday, 2:00 pm at Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel, with burial in the Anderson Cemetery.
