Mr. J. Clyde Anderson age 79, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Candler Hospital in Savannah. The Tattnall County native had lived in Reidsville most of his life and retired after forty three years of service with
Canoochee Electric. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and was an avid fisherman, hunter and gardener. Mr. Clyde was of the Baptist faith and is preceded in death by his parents, John and Nella Anderson; five brothers, Le Roy, Thomas, David, Glaston and Raymond Anderson.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Anglyn Baker Anderson of Reidsville.
Son and daughter-in-law, Joey Clyde and Annette Anderson of Reidsville.
Two daughters and son-in-law, Jo Ann and Keith Strickland of Claxton,
Susan A. Waters and her friend Keller Wilcox of Reidsville Grandchildren,
Rashe and Amanda Collins, Harley Strickland all of Claxton. Adam and Rachel
Cowart, Abbey and Lee Johnson all of Reidsville. Step-grandchildren, Charles
Scott, Melvin Ward, Angie Ward, Jeffery "Buck" Terry and Josh Terry.
Great-grandchildren, Gabe Collins, Morgan and Molly Cowart and Madisyn Johnson
Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation and Funeral Services

Visitation will begin at 6:00pm on Thursday from the Reidsville Chapel.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Friday, September 3, 2010 from the Reidsville Chapel of Bradley B. Anderson Funeral Home with the Reverends Steve Miller and Greg Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Anderson Church Cemetery in Collins.

Pallbearers will be Charles Anderson, Jess Anderson, Scott Padgett, Matt Padgett, Jeff Huges and Lee Huges
